A vintage American Scale Mfg. Co. fortune teller scale. Made of cast metal in a red and black finish. Step onto the scale and deposit your penny into the slot at the top that corresponds to your birth month and the aperture will provide a weight and a fortune. The attached round brass plate reads ‘In What Month Were You Born’ and the brass foot plate provides the manufacturer’s name. The keys that are included do not unlock the back, one key has a broken tip. This machine is untested.
