Item Details
An oil on canvas of Chinese Junks by artist P.C. Wong. The painting depicts a scene at either sunrise or sunset with such warm hues of orange, pink and yellow. Signed to the lower right corner. Write up on the back of the painting explains that Wong was born in Taiwan in 1953. After coming to San Francisco, he would sell paintings in Ghirardelli Square when he wasn’t working as a busboy in Chinatown. Painting soon became his full time occupation.
