Consider H. Willett, Inc. Cherry Dining Table and Chairs

A 1930-40s Consider H. Willett cherry dining table with six chairs. The table has a lustrous finish common to the Willett furniture and rounded edges, turned legs and curved stretchers. There are hidden 17’ leaves at either end of the table that extend the table for additional seating. Five matching cherry side chairs and one Captain chair complete the set. Willet furniture was crafted in Louisville, Kentucky and made of solid hardwood. According to maker, each piece was sanded at least seven times and had five layers of finish, taking six weeks to complete. Companion piece to lots 14LEX069-024 and 025.

Measurement is for table. There are two 17 inch leaves. Side Chairs measure 17.5×32.0×16.0. Captains chair measures 24.0×32×18.
