Vintage Kentucky Bybee Pottery Tea Set

A lovely terracotta pottery set from Kentucky potters Bybee featuring the soft red and green pattern of Christmas Bows and Holly. Lot includes a round bodied teapot, two solid mugs, an open creamer and lidded sugar (lid only fits in one direction) along with a ruffle edged cake or cookie plate. The design features charming red and white sponged details with touches of green. Bybee Pottery used to be the oldest existing pottery west of the Alleghenies until they discontinued production in the last few years. Once located in the small rural town of Bybee, in the southern hills of Madison County, Kentucky.
Condition
