Two Shiwan Mud Men Figurines
Item Details
A lot of two Shiwan Pottery Mud Men. The first is a mud man sitting on a rock and is stamped 688. The next is a fisherman coming home with his catch. The last Shiwan pottery is hand-formed and primitive in sculpting techniques. It is vivid in imagery and has rich hand-glazed colors (yellow, blue green, red purple, pale blue, brown and white). Each piece demonstrates exceptional three-dimensional techniques with unglazed clay faces, hands and feet, and exceptional expressive detailing.
