An original Dillie Thomas desert landscape oil on canvas. Thomas is a female artist who is recognized for her painterly style and her desert subjects. She received her formal education from San Bernardino Valley College, Victor Valley College and California State College San Bernardino. Her work appears in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada and Japan. The desert landscape is reminiscent of the Mojave Desert with an arched Joshua Tree and foliage framing a dirt trail leading into the mountainous distance. The painting is signed to the bottom right and is nicely set into a dark wood finished frame with a single linen mat. The frame is marked ‘Made in Mexico’.

Scuffs to the wood frame.
