A stunning, vintage sterling silver gold gilt Chinese dragon brooch with colorful enamel detailing. The serpentine body of the dragon is done in filigree with enameled work and a beautifully detailed head with the dragon’s mouth agape to even show his tongue. The brooch has a bar pin at the back and a loop could easily be added to the top of the dragon’s head to allow for wear as a pendant. Please note that three similar brooches are listed as items 14CIN367-087, 14CIN367-090 and 14CIN367-095.
Condition
The brooch is in very good vintage condition with a bit of patina to suggest its age. The enamel work is intact.
