An antique E. Ingraham Company mantel clock. The 19th century clockmaker Elias Ingraham was noted for innovation in the designs of his clock casings. This spring-driven mantel clock, circa 1885, sits in a wood case, painted black, with a relief pattern of three ionic columns on either side of the the clock face. The sides of the clock feature a lion’s head. The clock is in working condition; however, the clock chimes the wrong hour.

Condition

The clock face is partially detached and peeling from the clock. The glass dome covering the clock face has detached. The clock is in working condition, however, the clock chimes the wrong hour.
