A muzzle-loader black powder replica Kentucky Pistol, model #7090-percussion, bored for .45 Cal only. The barrel looks to be an eight-grooved slow right twist single piece barrel, unlike some other barrels manufactured for Ultra-Hi in the 1970s by Miroku in Japan, which were made in 2 parts, half straight-bore then half octagonal-groove twist creating an internal ledge which led to some mishaps when discharged. This pistol appears to be unfired, the barrel and wood need oiling, minor rust pitting is visible along the barrel. The brass trigger guard and nose cap are rough-finished brass. The ramrod and thimbles are in good shape. The percussion lock drops tightly, there is a scrollwork embellishment on the lock plates. This is a rear-sight only replica pistol stamped ‘Proof Tested’ on the top of the barrel.
