A Native American stone polished pottery jar by Laverne Loretto-Tosa of the Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico. This tanware melon swirl jar has deep incised vertical grooves equally spaced around the jar that swerve at the shoulder of the jar, finished at the top with matte triangles with extensions that resemble a Greek key design.
