A Johnny Bench autographed signed Major League baseball is in this lot. John signed the ‘sweet spot’ of the baseball with a black ink pen. He added, ‘HOF 89’ next to his name. Johnny Bench was the catcher for the Cincinnati Reds during the 1970s and early 1980s. John was in fourteen All-Star games, two World Series Championships, two time National League’s Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, and a ten time Gold Glove winner. He was inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1989. A certificate of authenticity from Mike Siska, President of Ideal Sports Memorabilia comes with the baseball.
