Antique Flintlock Long Rifle
Item Details
An antique flintlock long rifle in Curly Maple with a brass patch box at the sculpted butt, an octagonal barrel and ram rod and nice brass detailing. There are no markings on the rifle except for a brass acorn at the top of the stock and three brass fish along each side of the barrel. Included with the gun is a carved fox horn on a chain with a floral garland border and a bird head finial. The gun’s wood has a beautiful striped grain and will display impressively.
Condition
The flint is in place but the lock mechanism is rusty. The overall appearance of the gun however is very good.
Dimensions
The overall length of the rifle is 58" with the barrel being 42".
