A circa 1952 Lord Elgin pocket watch with a 14K gold case. The case front has a cream background with gold numbers and hash marks a second hand dial. The dial is marked ‘Lord Elgin’ under the twelve, ‘21 Jewels’ above the second hand dial, and ‘Swiss Made’ to the bottom. The workings are marked ‘Unadjusted Swiss / Elgin 876 / Tweny-One 21 Jewels’. The case back is marked ‘Cased and Time by Elgin National Watch Co. / Watch Star Case Co. / 14 Karat Gold / 2296 / S562270’. The crown does wind, the clock workings are moving and the second hand moves, but otherwise untested.
