1969 Moon Landing Commemorative Items
Item Details
A selection of items commemorating the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing. The items include a felt pennant, a pin-back button with a purple ribbon, and a poster with an attached ‘First Man on the Moon’ stamp with printed signatures of President Richard Nixon and Postmaster General Winton M. Blount.
Condition
- the pennant has some creases and some discoloration to the ‘tails’, the pin-back button with ribbon is good, housed in a protective sleeve and the poster has foxing to the edge and some stains to the left side, wear to the corners.
Dimensions
The pennant is 8.5"H x 31"W including the ‘tails’. The pin-back with ribbon is 6.25"H x 1.75"W and the poster is 14"H x 11"W.
