An ‘original limited edition sericel’ animation cel from The Flintstones, released by Hanna Barbera in 1996. Consists of two pieces, a colored background and a transparent overlay on which the figures are drawn. Depicts the classic scene from the opening sequence in which a drive-in waitress brings a rack of mammoth ribs to the Flintstone family’s car, causing it to lean over dangerously. Labelled as ‘an Ed Benedict design’, ‘inked by Helene Hunter’. Unframed. Companion piece to lot 276, a framed animation cel from The Flintstones signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera as well as Harvey Korman (the Great Gazoo).

Condition

- the piece is bent as a result of being stored in a protective tube, but is otherwise undamaged.
