A stoneware pitcher with an applied handle. This piece features a salt-glaze and a cobalt slip-trailed, floral decoration. Impressed mark ‘F. Stetzenmeyer & Co., Rochester. N,Y’ present. Circa 1850.

Condition

- Made for utilitarian use, these are typically found with some amount of damage, as this one does: multiple chips around rim and spout; a 5" crack, running from rim, down neck and onto bulbous side.
