Beautifully Restored Antique Travel Trunk

Item Details

A beautifully restored antique travel trunk, painted black and tan on the outside and lined inside with a green print decorative kitchen-style paper. The leather straps and handles are intact on the trunk as is the brass hardware latches. Nicely vanished wood bars stretch across the metal. The trunk does not have an inner shelf as some do. There is a label on the inside for the Taylor Trunk Company in Louisville, which specializes in this type of restoration.
