Six Laminated East Asian Placemats
Item Details
A set of six stylish art placemats, featuring Japanese style paintings within a transparent laminate covering. These paintings, which appear to be original, use subdued greyscale colors for the most part, accented with a few brighter splashed of color, against a camel-color paper background. They depict scenes from nature as well as houses, a pagoda, and human figures walking or piloting a boat. Signed by the artist in Japanese characters.
Condition
- a few of the placemats have small tears at the edges which have been repaired with transparent tape.
