A Admiral Dewey USS Olympia Spanish American War Commemorative pitcher by Beatty-Brady. This highly collectible piece depicts Admiral Dewey and his famous flagship the USS Olympia during the Spanish-American War. The clear glass is stippled with handle and nautical rope rim, a portrait of Dewey framed in acanthus leaves with an eagle at the top, crossed ship flags with a cannon, the USS Olympia, piles of artillery shells, and a Maltese cross. The handle area features a Cuban and American Flag. Circa 1890s.
