A Paul-Émile Pissarro (French, 1884-1972) original pastel drawing on paper. The youngest son of the celebrated Impressionist Camille Pissarro, Paul-Émile showed artistic talent at an early age. As his style developed, his technique began to incorporate broad, bold strokes, often done with a palette knife. He is well-known for his depictions of light and nature reflecting on water. The title of the piece is Becours d’Eau. The piece includes authentication from Katia Pissarro, dated 1986.
