Copper Strap Cedar Chest

Item Details

A copper strap cedar chest, circa 1930s-1940s. The chest features a rectangular form with an overhanging hinged lid, applied curved column sides, two carrying handles and bracket feet. The top of the chest has a copper hammered nail straps, copper hinges and a copper key hole (key is not included). The interior is deep, wonderful for storage, with a sliding compartment shelf.

Condition

- scuffs to the interior and exterior. There is tarnish to the metal, a bend and mark to the top strap. Finish loss and stains to the chest lid.
