Renaissance Revival Style Bed Frame

Item Details

A Renaissance Revival Style bed frame, dating to the late 19th century. The twin size frame is crafted of mahogany and burled walnut veneer. The high headboard features a curled scalloped seashell finial along the curved pediment, an oval molded center with inlaid burled walnut details and pointed finial posts. The low-set footboard curves along the edges with a scalloped top, raised finial posts and an applied emblem to the front. The bed includes bed rails and slats.

Condition

- scratches and scuffs to the wood. In the oval veneer headboard, there are splits.
