A Steiff museum edition replica of 1927 ‘Bully’ Dog, signed to box. This adorable bull dog displays beautiful Steiff craftsmanship in materials and design, with chest label and ear button, swivel head, leather collar, bell, hand-painted face and covering of fine mohair plush and velvet. Identification number to back of box is B86-000375. The Steiff Museum opened in 1980, comemmorating the company’s 100th annniversary with a large variety of iconic Steiff creations. The ‘Museum Collection’ began in 1984, and each piece offered is a limited edition, with ‘Bully’ Dog restricted to 6,000.
