An adorable 1930s Mason & Parker children’s chalkboard easel. The easel is made of an oak veneer with a chalkboard that folds down as a work space with storage cubbies. Along the top is a paper scrolled banner, featuring childhood story figures, a circus wagon, animal stunts, battleships, trains and more! The piece is marked ‘Educational Playthings, Mason & Parker Mfg. Co., Winchendon, Mass.’.
Condition
- good to fair. The paper scrolled banner has cracks, rips and is difficult to roll. Scuff’s and chips to the wood. The chalkboard is dirty.
