Two N. Taylor Stonington Prints and a Vintage Watercolor
Item Details
Two N. Taylor Stonington color-offset prints, including a one-of-a-kind piece, and a vintage watercolor. The Stonington pieces are framed and matted prints by American watercolor artist Nancy Taylor Stonington. One piece is a print of the 1977 painting ‘Southeast Alaska Sentinels’ depicting three totem poles in Klawock, AK. The print is signed and titled in pencil by the artist. The other Nancy Taylor Stonington piece is a rather curious, and completely unique, limited edition print. Signed, titled, and numbered ‘366/550’ in pencil by the artist, the piece is titled ‘Russian River’. However, the print is not of ‘Russian River’, rather, the print is confirmed by the artist to be a mislabeled ‘mistake’ and depicts a Russian Orthodox Church in Kodiak, AK. This prints also come with a watercolor depicting a small, rustic church in shades of blue. The painting is signed in ballpoint pen ‘Hony Floyd’ and dated ’77.
