A Henkel Harris mahogany Chippendale style secretary with matching reproduction chair. The piece has a molded crown, over the fretwork and glass door bookcase, resting on a three drawer secretary base with tilt down writing surface. The base has several correspondence compartments, with bale and rosette brass pulls. All keys and registration information is included. The piece rests on flat bracket feet. The chair, also in the Chippendale style, features a yoke top rail, over the pierce work, vasiform shaped splat, resting on Marlborough legs with an ‘H’ stretcher, the seat upholstered in a rose and cream colored, patterned fabric.
