An original watercolor by Robert W. Daley, commissioned to illustrate the sculpted rock head phenomenons on Eastern Island. Robert W. Daley (American born 1922) studied art in Los Angelas before being assigned as the official combat artist during WWII. After the war, Robert built his career in NYC before his love of the sea lured him back as the artist in residence aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Robert W. Daley was a member of the American Watercolor Society and this watercolor is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The watercolor is presented in a beige mat and an antiqued gold frame.
