A print of the oil painting ‘Pemigewasset Coach’ by American artist Enoch Wood Perry (1831-1915). The painting was a wedding gift for Mary Lamper Kingman and Frederick Clark Sayles Jr., who married in 1900. The painting depicts a loaded coach receiving a hearty send-off from local children. The back of the coach is loaded with packages bearing the initials of the bride and grooms’ fathers, B.E.K. and F.C.S., respectively. The print hangs in a wooden frame with a cloth inner panel, bearing a plaque with the artist’s name and title of the piece.
