A vintage platform rocking chair in the Eastlake style upholstered in a faded burgundy velvet with a flower beautifully carved into the top rail and scrolled padded arms resting on gently curved arm supports.

Condition

The velvet is well worn and faded consistent with age, and both arms are loose. There is a piece broken off the top rail but may be reattached. The finish is worn and scratched. The velvet appears darker in the photographs then it truly is.
