Marx Toys Friction WWI Tank with Doughboy Gunner

A rare find for the war toy collector—a 1930’s Marx Toys WWI clockwork tank with doughboy gunner, the tin toy marvelously detailed in pale khaki shade with offwhite and black grommet detail. The tank has a hatch to the top that opens up to reveal the red-jacketed gunner. The toy originally had a flint with sparking action. The toy is marked with the Marx trademark to the back.
