An early 20th century phonograph by Modernola with lamp and fringe shade. Modernola was based in Johnstown, PA and produced from 1874 until the late 1920s. This gorgeous piece features a cylindrical walnut body with cabinet for record storage. Includes a sticker which reads ’Naimark’s Music House 4707 Michigan Ave.’ Features a two-bulb lamp that operates with pull chains. The shade displays an orange fabric with blue lace overlay and is finished with cream trim and fringe. Shade is topped with a pineapple finial. Has scrolled feet with casters. Comes complete with ten Vocalion 78 rpm records and a plethora of extra needles. Has been refurbished and is functional.

  • This item is a heavy item located at the basement level. There is a basement exit with no stairs which leads to a moderate incline to get to street level. Please bring the required people and equipment to remove this item.
