A hand-painted ‘Occupied Japan’ Satsuma style tea set. The design is of human figures on a brown background. The central figure is draped and blue. The other figures are in accent colors of hunter green and a dark blue. Each piece is marked ‘Guaranteed, hand painted, Occupied Japan.’ The set includes a teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, six saucers, and two teacups.
Condition
The lid to the sugar bowl is broken and missing a piece.
Dimensions
Various sizes measurements are for the teapot.
