A rare Gilchrists No. 31 mechanical ice cream scoop with wiper mechanism and wooden handle. The scoop is wonderful to hold, the wood handle has a terrific patina. The gear mechanism works the wiper at the bowl to extract the scoop. The brass handle is stamped ‘Gilchrists No. 31’
Condition
, the scoop works well and has been tested for many, many years.
