Original Ernest Geissendorfer Etching

Item Details

A hand-colored, original etching by German artist Ernst Geissendorfer (1908-1993). The image depicts the Heidelberg Castle rising above the tree line nested on the side of the mountain, with the Old Bridge in the foreground. The etching is titled in pencil illegibly by the artist in the left corner and signed to the right below the edge of the print. The image is framed in a simple wooden gilt frame.

Condition

Painted wood frame has damage on all four corner edges and chipping along the top.
