Antique Swivel Chair with Footstool

Item Details

A charming antique chair with several interesting features: a circular seat which swivels independently while the rest of the chair stays stationary; claw-and-ball feet in which the balls are glass; and a small footstool that has a horizontal piece allowing it to be braced against the central column or another piece of furniture or a wall. The legs, spreaders, central column and back stiles are all lathe-turned and the crest rail is carved with curling leaf designs.

Condition

- minor nicks and scratches. The footstool also has two water rings.
