Statton Trutype Americana Cherry Desk

Item Details

A Statton Trutype Americana desk, bench-made with solid cherry. Produced by Statton Furniture Manufacturing Company, Hagerstown, Maryland, this Chippendale style desk has a raised tier shelf, shallow cubbies, and drawers. The desk has a center drawer for pencils, three shallow drawers on the right, and one deep drawer with slots on the left, with dovetail construction, sand cast brass, bat-wing bail handles, and turned legs. The desk is shown in its original finish, possibly 1950-60s. Item coordinates with item #227, item #364, item #365, item #372, item #375, item #376, and item #379.

to fair. Join separation at right front drawer. Top shows nicks and scratches. Wear is consistent with age and use.
