Gorgeous Chinese Handcrafted Cloisonne Enamel Vase

A very large handcrafted Chinese cloisonne enamel vase. This spectacular vase features a floral pattern around the rim, followed by pairs of green birds and scroll work. Under the birds is a nice floral pattern in arched windows. The lower portion of the vase neck is decorated with butterflies flying among flowers against a blue and gold floral background. The body of the vase is filled with a variety of birds with peacocks as the focal point. They are gathered near water with lovely greenery and flowers in the forefront. The base of the vase features a lovely floral medallion pattern and is finished with a gilt band to base. Includes a lovely carved wood base designed with Greek key, pierced floral and scroll work.
Condition
- very minor wear. The stand is in good condition with nicks to wooden feet.
