A Don Dennis watercolor is of the Alpine landscape. The simple scene of the pine trees and mounds of snow is majestic in this watercolor. Dennis, a Cincinnati artist, has signed his work in the lower right hand corner. The watercolor is presented in a silver metal frame with a sky blue mat. Mr. Dennis was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1923. He moved to Cincinnati (settling in Wyoming) Ohio in 1954. Aside from his watercolors, Mr. Dennis served as an art director for Gibson Greeting Cards and was also an art director at King’s Island for a brief period.
Condition
There are several scratches to the frame.
