An original limited edition serigraph by well listed artist Itzchak (Isaac) Tarkay (1935-2012). This print is titled “Four Women’ and features imagery typical of the artist’s oeuvre. Rendered in fauvist sensibilities, a nonchalant group of women enjoy an afternoon of quality conversation with close friends in a cozy conglomerate of chairs. The setting in which they sit implies that they’re engrossed in one another’s company so thoroughly that time is forgotten and friends are all that matters. The print is pencil signed by the artist to the lower right and numbered subsequently at the left 145/350. Presented in a gilt wood frame with a single white, cloth wrapped mat, terminating in a gold bevel, to edge.
