Gorgeous vintage c. 1950 18k gold 17-jewel Baume & Mercier Swiss made mechanical ladies’ bangle wristwatch, an elegant piece with Art Deco styling. The rectangular ivory face is raised above the angled shoulders and set both top and bottom in 18k gold mesh rectangles. The Arabic numerals and markers are in gold. The 18k mesh bangle bracelet is tension-designed and a pair of elegant 18k gold smooth tapered ends are accented with gold studs. Marked 161553 and 20476 to the back case. The watch works when tested, but is not guaranteed to keep accurate time.
