Wooden Box with WWII Military Medical Supplies

Item Details

A wooden box with assorted WWII military medical supplies including gauze bandages, thermometer, vintage blood pressure cuff, and George Teimann & Co. travel medical tool kit. Box has two rectangular holding compartments and a small brass latch to the outside. This item belonged to Nashville’s first Director of Health who held the position between 1964-1987. He was also a physician in the U.S. Army during WWII.
