Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Coronation Plate

Item Details

An Alfred Meakin china plate commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The scalloped edges are lined with a thin strip of gold coloring. The center of the plate shows a transfer image of the queen amidst the flags of England. On each side of the plate are two flags with the inscription ‘Crowned June 2nd, 1953’. The back of the plate is stamped with the maker’s mark and the words ‘Alfred Meakin England’.

Condition

Light sticker residue to upper right corner. Wear to decoration consistent with age.
