A hand signed Frank C. McCarthy ‘On The Warpath’ limited edition photo offset lithograph print of his 1979 work, number 922/1000. McCarthy (b. 1924) is a formally trained American artist well praised for his old Western subject matter paintings. ‘On The Warpath’ depicts a dry desert landscape with Native American warriors horseback, racing to battle in traditional headdresses carrying spears, shields and coup sticks. The artist signed and numbered the print in pencil in the bottom right corner. This was printed by The Greenwich Workshop, Inc. in 1979, unframed and placed in a nice portfolio.
