A Chilmark Fine Pewter ‘Shoshone-Eagle Catcher’ 1981 limited edition figurine, number 1495/2500 and signed by artist ‘Michael Boyett’. The in-the-round pewter figurine features a Native American male bent down on a rocky cliff with his right hand clutching a rock as his left is wrapped around an eagles foot that is trying to fly away. The eagle’s wing span is wide, trying to flee the male, with its right foot being held and its left claws piercing into his skin. The pewter figurine has a round wood base.
