Federal Style Mahogany Sectretary

Item Details

A Federal style mahogany secretary. The secretary features a swan neck pediment to the top with a turned wood finial to the center. The glass doors have nice applied wood accents over glass and a keyhole to right-hand door (key not present). The doors open to two inside shelves. The slanted desk opens to six pigeon holes with a small cabinet to the center over three drawers with round metal pulls. The secretary features four serpentine drawers to the lower section with machine cut dovetail construction, metal bail pulls with engraved back plates. The piece is finished with ball and claw feet.

Condition

- to fair. Key not present. There are a few nicks to wood, especially to feet. The cabinet inside desk is missing the pull. Missing trim to top right side.
