Eastlake Walnut Chest

Handsome antique c. 1875 Victorian Eastlake walnut three-drawer chest with dark emperado marble top with ornate carved walnut back splash , with scalloped top accented by small rondels, and dimensional round flower form to the center, surrounded by foliate and floral carvings, and fan scalloped ends. The three drawers feature handcut dovetail joints, and wonderful oak leaf handpulls, and are finished to the front with linear incised designs, along with foliate and floral carvings. The dresser has three recessed panels to each side, applied round escrutcheons, scrolled-end apron to the base, as well as wood casters.
