The book presents an aerial view of Parris Island, portraits of the commanding officers, history of the base, pictures of the arrival of the recruits and their haircuts and exams. The book continues with pages full of views of facilities and recruit life at Parrish Island, ending with yearbook style photographs of the individual recruits of 1974.
