Vintage GE Radio-Phonograph Combination Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage General Electric radio-phonograph combination cabinet. This mahogany cabinet opens to reveal a shelf for storing records, a dial knob radio and a phonograph. The phonograph is on a track so that it can be pulled out for use. The top of the cabinet has the General Electric logo on the front. The bottom portion has a speaker behind it concealed by fabric and a metalwork design on the front. The back label says it’s a GE Radio-Phonograph Comibation 749. Estimated to be manufactured in the 1940s.

Condition

Several scratches on the top surface. The wires for the radio and phonograph are aged and frayed.
