A stunning wool area rug by Karastan. This jewel tone, 100% worsted wool rug, is part of the Original Karastan Collection, No. 742, ‘Floral Kirman’ pattern. This 30-color rug is a beautiful example of the rich intensity woven into rug designs from the Kirman region of ancient Persia. Kirman rugs are woven in the U.S.A. from premium, fully worsted, New Zealand wool, with each of the 30 colors individually skein dyed for jewel tone clarity. Each color fiber is woven through the back, and finished with Karastan’s patented Lustre-Wash, to create as closely as possible the look and feel of the hand knotted rug that inspired it. This rug is 8.8′ × 12′.
