John Ruthven's "Gray Fox Family", Signed and Numbered

A lot comprised of John Ruthven’s lithograph titled ‘Gray Fox Family’ illustrating just that. The gray fox mama watches over three cubs as they observe a curious little wren. The lithograph is numbered 516/950 in the lower left corner, the artist’s signature in pencil is in the lower right and the print is presented under glass with a rustic wood frame. Documentation is included in an envelope affixed to the back. Ruthven (born in Cincinnati, 1927) studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and became referred to as ‘The 20th Century Audubon’ due to the fact that he researched his subject thoroughly then masterfully depicted wildlife in great and exact detail.
